Statement of Purpose — Deven Rose Ventures Incorporated
Deven Rose Ventures, Incorporated (DRVI) is organized as a Colorado Public Benefit Corporation, and exists to balance shareholder value with people- and planet-focused economic outcomes under the
Colorado Public Benefit Corporation Act.
DRVI is organized for the specific public benefit purposes of: incubating cooperative companies, expanding the redistribution of economic equity through worker ownership and community-scaled enterprise, redistributing opportunity and economic surplus from concentrated systems into the hands of independent workers, lean contractors, and small businesses through innovation, efficiency and coordination.
DRVI further exists for the public benefit of advancing community-scaled clean energy adoption, environmental stewardship and bipartisan policy adoption, including solar generation, battery storage, energy efficiency coordination, equitable charging infrastructure, and climate-positive infrastructure education or enablement frameworks that reduce environmental harm and increase energy independence and community resilience.
DRVI may coordinate and partner with purpose-aligned public benefit organizations and traditional for-profit companies, providing non-exclusive, governance-lite competitive pathways that allow participating firms to voluntarily pursue equitable business outcomes, environmental impact contributions, community collaboration models, and worker-scaled surplus distribution without requiring organizational restructuring. These frameworks are designed to encourage mission-aligned participation through competition, not mandate, particularly when competing alongside firms that do not yet formally adopt such objectives. DRVI will also seek to create and support partnerships with local, county/parish, state and national governments in furtherance of these goals.
DRVI exists for the public benefit of supporting the cooperative economy, worker equity freelancers, sole proprietors, small and independent businesses by networking them together through shared coordination systems, partnership frameworks, and transparent referral economics that enable them to compete collectively on a larger coordinated scale. These systems empower small firms and independent workers to originate, engage, and win opportunities typically reserved for extractive, centralized, or high-CAC enterprise models, while preserving operational independence and fair competition.
DRVI will incubate and support multiple coming projects in clean energy, cooperative infrastructure, worker collaboration and organization, and empower consumers to choose a better world for tomorrow by building a better economy today.
DRVI may collaborate with and support aligned organizations including but not limited to Citizens’ Climate Lobby, 1% for the Planet, and similar future-selected partners that further environmental stewardship, climate resilience, and social equity, provided such collaboration advances the corporation’s stated public benefit purposes and does not compromise shareholder value or corporate sustainability.
DRVI’s board of directors and officers shall manage the business and affairs of the corporation in a manner that balances (1) the pecuniary interests of shareholders, (2) the interests of those materially affected by the corporation’s conduct, and (3) the corporation’s stated public benefits, as required by Colorado law.
